Was just reading an article about skiing and it is getting me really pumped about the upcoming winter season (if it ever actually gets here). I thought I would get in a ski trip this December, but it’s looking like it will be Mid January before my mountain has any real snow. Sure it means more true top down days with my Miata, but I have the top down in all weather anyways!

The leading picture is actually taken of me up at Sugarbush in Vermont somewhere up on Castle Rock. I fell so many times coming down that damn mountain last year. Hoping to truly master it this year.

Plus I want to test out my ski rack some more!

Dude... You don’t understand how much I can’t wait for ski season to (actually) start. Hunter Mountain was open last weekend but now they’re closed, and the weathers not helping. Thankfully I was able to go to Mount Snow for free last week!

BTW which mountain do you ski at? I usually go to Hunter Mountain as my college gets a great discount for a season pass.

Sugarbush, I scored a season pass (full 7 days a week) for $330. Its a rather far drive from home but so worth it for that price. Nearer to home, I typically go to Blue Mountain in Palmerton, PA. But yeah Vermont skiing is the best. They are technically open but I am not making that drive for less than 10 trails lol. And I really enjoy woods skiing which definitely needs more natural snow.

Never been there, but that’s almost the price I paid for my Hunter season pass! I only went skiing in Vermont once but I really want to go once the season picks up. And glades are the best, I enjoy pure speed and jumps but nothing beats a nice run in the woods.

We have had a lot of storms break around Utah. But at least we have snow, still pretty fun out there

Pure speed and jumps while going through the woods is even better lol. I am not really about speed, that gets kinda boring. That is why I picked up park skiis so that I can turn a little bit better and do sweet jumps. I really like natural jumps with lots of powder around. A lot of the skiing I end up doing is more what I call “adventuring” though. Have definitely ended up having to hike down a cliff before lol.
